@llloydfred True, but the migrants were never headed here and we really don't have issue with illegal immigration here. We're a hugely diverse mix of cultures and we've got plenty of undocumented citizens here, but it works. No one cares. No one's at war. This was never DeSantis' fight and he knew that, which is why he looks way in over his head at the moment.

Bostonians and area residents are making sure the immigrants get help they need. That is not why they were unwittingly shipped there under false and misleading premises.

@Graylight I would not say false and misleading circumstance, because what was Texas to do, what was Florida to do, and America in a whole to do. Biden is using this disaster situation as a win. This incentive situation upon these migrants could be stopped with the wait in Mexico.

@llloydfred First, the vast majority of illegal drugs comes right through legal ports of entry. Nothing at all to do with illegal immigration. These include ports of entry at San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, Tecate, Andrade and Calexico. But get this: Chinese companies produce the vast majority of fentanyl, fentanyl analogues, and fentanyl precursors. So I forget, who are we supposed to be following again? And this accounts for only about 60% of the stuff - the rest is coming from elsewhere and right inside our borders from the likes of Chad and Steve.

Texas - as much as it truly, deeply wants to be - [i]isn't[/i] separate from the US, but their immigration situation is theirs. You don't live in Florida. You don't work, play, explore, shop or invest in Florida. Don't pretend to know anything at all about the sate of illegal immigration in our state when you don't even understand it in yours.
