I do recall Trump banning US telecoms companies using Chinese telecom kit in their infrastructure and this was condemned as racist at the time..

@CheekyBadger Mainly his jokes about the "Kung Flu" during the pandemic were perceived as examples of Trump’s racism. But there were plenty of examples.
