Whether this is true or not it reminds me of when I was a little kid when we drove south to visit the grandparents on my mom's side. She had this housekeeper named Katherine who was black. Heck, I didn't realize that at age 5 or so and didn't care. All I knew is she was a sweet lady who loved to read to my brother and I when we were in her lap. One book she read was Little Black Sambo. She didn't whine and complain about the title. She just read the damned story to us and loved doing so. :)
