And the immigrants will work harder than people from the U.S.

@Dino11 The people who hire them would like slave labor. This is the next best thing. They don’t have to pay a living wage, and there’s always the threat of deportation.

@bijouxbroussard Disciples of Caesar Chavez will save them. Am very Pro union.

@Dino11 The protections to people here illegally are limited. The last administration saw to that.

@bijouxbroussard They have to start somewhere, let them work, as americans, while they become americans, It a win-win situation all around.

@bijouxbroussard I remember the braceros here in CA, now they are the primary ranch owners, thru hard work and ingenuity

@Dino11 The immigration process itself is probably what needs to change. A lot of people want to immigrate here, and are trying to do it legally. They shouldn’t be punished because of those coming illegally or not leaving when their visas expire.

@bijouxbroussard One step at a time, Ms. Broussard, One step at a time...Get them gainfully employed, provide them with a HW package that works and protects their families,
give them pride of ownership of their new life.

@Dino11 With respect, there are people born and raised here who could use that kind of assistance, as well.

@bijouxbroussard I agree, but unfotunately we have a shortage of agricultural workers,
Our people know the work is there, many here don't like that grunt work,
like grunts like me. 😆
