We're past that...well, most Democrats aren't white supremacists.
But having better roads & schools...and energy from renewable sources businesses held accountable education funded single-payer health care better transportation etc., etc., etc.
@MistyCee I don't know. Truman followed FDR for eight years. He moved the U.S. from war to peace and championed Civil Rights. Pretty successful tenure by most accounts.
@MistyCee Can't really answer that. I'd like to think a whole lot of black people and workers remember him. That's outside of every American at the time who saw WW2 end. Bet the Japanese remember him too. Probably a little differently though.
@MistyCee Who remembers Truman? Anyone who reads history? (Yeah, I was alive when he was President, but too young to remember him. The first I remember is Eisenhower.)
