Question for Democrats

Let's say you have won every election and totally control all aspects of government. Then what? What will the country be like?

Here's a long sentence.

The wealthiest would pay their fair share with tax loopholes they access eliminated and the corresponding revenue would be directed to where it's needed the most, rights such as abortion and gay marriage would be codified, advancing technologies and onshore manufacturing would be pursued, the unfair and undemocratic electoral college would be eliminated, the Supreme Court would be expanded to eliminate/diminish the politicization of it, Citizen's United would (hopefully) be eliminated, some form of "free" healthcare and secondary education would be implemented, gun laws would be strengthened, climate change would be better addressed and things like unions, minimum wage increases, consumer protections and regulations against industries that harm citizens would be promoted.

With that, crime would be reduced, life spans would be increased, even more jobs would be created and "regular" people would have a chance for better lives.

That's just a few off the top of my head.

Another way of looking at is that Democrats are 'for' things. The things that makes people's lives safer and better. Republicans are 'against' things. I'm hard pressed to think of anything they're 'for' that doesn't harm others in the process.

So I see it as the difference between strength and weakness, courage and fear and moving forward instead of backwards. You know...the REAL American ideals.
