Question for Democrats
Let's say you have won every election and totally control all aspects of government. Then what? What will the country be like?

Okay for a little while before conservative elements try to keep the government from progressing further and will look to the good old days. The mythical golden age. So the left will slowly move to the right and pick up the rejects of the country driving it even further to the right into conspiracy land. Then new progressive parties will arise to fight the retrogressive elements and push humanity toward more progress again.
Sadly most of human history has been ruled by autocratic governments which has slowed progress since the first cities formed and the first governments formed to manage them. Conservatism has literally put humanity behind by around 8,000 years. If all governments had followed logic and science instead of conservatism and religion we would have had antibiotics in 1000 BCE.
This has always happened throughout history. And it will continue to happen. America is just another empire that will eventually change or fall.
