Sarah Palin and ranked choice voting

I find the results of this election quite telling, and revealing of the problems with today's GOP and their extreme candidates.

It sounds like people either voted Palin #1, or put her last. There are a few hints that nationally some of the extreme GOP candidates may fail in the general election in the same way in states/districts that are moderate or evenly split.

Just remember, poll after poll shows a strong majority of Americans:
1) Support some kind of abortion rights,
2) Think Trump needs to be criminally investigated,
3) Know the 2020 election was legitimate

Extreme candidates win in districts/states that are gerrymandered, or lean heavily to one party.

Even conservative Kansas rejected further abortion restrictions.

It will be interesting to see what happens in November. The GOP will probably regain seats, but it will be nowhere near what it was in 2010.

Number 1 is partially right, the rest are total bullshit. A vast majority think the 2020 election was hinkey

@TexChik Common sense alone …
@redredred Is your google broken??

Poll: Nearly 60% of Americans say Trump should be charged for Jan. 6

A January 2021 Morning Consult survey of 1,990 registered voters nationwide showed 65% responded that they believe the 2020 election was "free and fair."

Another December 2021 poll, this one conducted by the Washington Post and the University of Maryland, asked 1,101 adults: "Regardless of whom you supported in the 2020 election, do you think Joe Biden’s election as president was legitimate, or was he not legitimately elected?" Nearly 7 in 10 respondents said Biden was legitimately elected, while 29% said he was not.

A Quinnipiac University poll conducted one month after the November 2020 election found similar results. Six in 10 respondents said Biden’s win was legitimate, versus 34% who said it was not legitimate. A majority of respondents in the Quinnipiac poll also said they did not believe there was widespread voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election, whereas 38% said they did believe there was fraud.

When Quinnipiac conducted a second poll six months after the election, the number of respondents who believed the election to be legitimate increased to nearly two-thirds. Respondents who said the contest was illegitimate dropped to 29%.

@TexChik I can help you with that. Your numbers are wrong. The census bureau reports that, as of 2020, there were about 168 million registered voters, of which about 154 million reported voted. So, given the margin of error in the census numbers, the numbers add up. See here:

https://www.census.gov/data/tables/time-series/demo/voting-and-registration/p20-585.html

Where do you get 133 million registered voters from?

@ItsSteve I didnt use revised socialist information
@ItsSteve Unfortunately I can't see who you're replying to; someone who blocked me presumably. But one conspiracy theory I've seen bases its voter numbers on registrations prior to the 2020 season during which so many people registered.

@ElwoodBlues No but neither is my common sense, the irregularities of the 2020 election are overwhelming evidence of fraud. Once an actual, legitimately elected government is reestablished in this country, indictments will follow.
@redredred What "irregularities"?? Didn't most of your alleged "irregularities" occur in republican controlled states like Arizona & Georgia? Weren't there recounts conducted in those republican controlled states by republican secretaries of state?

BTW, are you ready to cede defeat on your poll claims?

Are you ready to admit there's never been any majority that believed in a "stolen election"?

Are you ready to admit there IS a majority that thinks Trump should continue to be investigated?

neither is my common sense
My common sense tells me that the party that is willing to dismiss the geological age of the Earth, the party that is willing to dismiss the science of evolution, the party that is willing to dismiss the science of epidemiology, is also perfectly willing to dismiss the science of statistics.

@TexChik So what data are you using? 2016 registration data?
redredred · M
@ElwoodBlues You and your socialist pigs are going down in November. By December it’ll be legal to hunt democrats. You fuckers are over.
@redredred LOL!!! You can't answer the question at ALL!!!
You can write the word "irregularities" but you can't cite any, ROTFL!!!

And of course I proved you DEAD WRONG on the polling questions!! Your response here is a mixture of ad hominem AND moving goalposts, LOL!!!

@ElwoodBlues Listen shitweasel, your weekend-at-Bernies prop just declared war on the well armed half if the country. His Nuremberg speech has not gone unnoticed. You keyboard commandos are about to find out what “flamed” means in the real world. Enjoy your mommy’s basement while you can.
@redredred Oooooooh, threats of violence now, you must be foaming at the mouth, LOL!!!

But have you noticed the dogs that aren't barking? Have you noticed the kinds of interesting commentary NOT emanating from republican leadership? No, you only listen to other foamers at the mouth!

But more and more republicans are taking a wait-n-see approach to Trump's document scandal. More and more republicans are DEFENDING the DoJ and the FBI. And, as DoJ filings release more info about what Trump absconded with, some - such as Trump's Attorney General Bill Barr - are actually voicing CRITICISM of Trump. Trump is morphing into a millstone around the necks of GOP candidates such as Palin.

But you, keep up those empty threats, you're an amusing clown, ROTFL!!!
