Destroying America One Day at a Time: Strategic Oil Reserve at Lowest Level in 40 Years #BidenEffect

Joe Biden and Democrats are destroying America one day at a time. Ad it’s all on purpose.

Gas prices have spiked since Joe Biden took the White House in 2021.

On his first day in office, Joe Biden killed off 42,100 jobs by ending construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline and the end of construction of the Trump border wall.

The national average for a gallon of gas is $3.841 – nearly $2 a gallon increase since he took over. The price of gas has never been higher since Joe took office.

The Biden regime also shut down more pipelines last winter as gas prices were surging.

Earlier this year Joe BIden announced he would release emergency oil reserves to combat high energy prices.

Now today the US Strategic Oil Reserve is at its lowest level in 40 years.

Trump built up the reserves by purchasing gas when the price was low.

Only to see Joe Biden deplete the reserves as part of his failed energy policies.

I hope they get those solar powered fighter jets online soon!

Drill, baby, Drill, I guess.

Flip side of this is, what's the long term plan, or does anyone care?

I get that Dems want to kill fossil fuels and Republicans don't, but what's the plan down the road? I'm not convinced Biden (or those who are "handling" him) has one that will work, but carpe diem doesn't really appeal to me much.

Wind won't work, and Trump thinks it causes cancer, but what about nuclear or something else?

That's been my immediate concern with Biden's plan.
Without fossil fuels, right now, we're tossed unprepared back to a lifestyle of the 1800's.

Nuclear is a terrific option. Plus to democrats, it's like garlic to a vampire.
@Budwick Some Democrats, and probably even more of them if you start talking about privatizing and getting rid of pesky public safety regulations, but not all Democrats are tree huggers and some like garlic.

I'd like to see all alternatives to fossil fuels being looked at, and not rejected out of hand, personally.

Don't know what you are referring to.
I know a lot of democrats already just skirt the law with bad results.
You'll have to be be more specific.

Well, they're trying out solar and wind - they sound cool - just not ready for prime time.
Having something would be nice before they turn off my natural gas.
@Budwick I agree. I live in an oil/natural gas producing state, have worked with the industry, and while I've done well enough during the booms and even the relative busts, I've also seen the effects on the environment, politics, and the State.

It hooks into another post, but extracting limited natural resources, destroying wetlands and barrier islands to do it, just doesnt seem sustainable in the long run.

Politics over spending/taxing/incentivizing particular industries are inevitable, but I really with there was room for grown up consensus about changing our dependancy on fossil fuels globally.

#1 - Let's take care of us.
#2 - We need an alternative
