Because it literally requires exploitation of the masses to make a tiny minority rich. It is destroying the planet, it has functionally recreated feudalism, I could go on.
Socialism is about people over profit.
And actually capitalism is why the US economy crashes like clockwork about every 10 years and why people are getting poorer.
