Capitalism, why are people against it?

It what makes America the most economically advanced country! Why prefer Socialism over Capitalism?

I think that when you honestly break it down most people support a European economic system which promotes a work/life balance. Speaking for the United States, our system is out of balance. Too many breaks and loopholes for the rich, and social programs most only get by staying poor.
