I have a security clearance for my job. It is necessary every single day. Several hours of each day are spent in a room where the presence of my phone would be the military equivalent of a felony.

Classified information and documents are very heavily regulated and everyone with a security clearance is thoroughly trained on those regulations.

Both Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump violated our laws and, if not for their wealth and political status, would be in jail. I say lock 'em up.

They should both be held accountable, but let’s be honest, what Clinton did was a breach of protocol. Trump actually violated the law. So the two situations aren’t identical. I’d say Clinton has already been held accountable.

@LeopoldBloom No. What she did was far more than a breach of protocol. She possessed classified information in a non-secure, private home environment.

This is not a breach of protocol. It is a violation of law that she was trained on multiple times.

@sarabee1995 So charge her. But the fact that she was not charged is no excuse for Trump.

Of the three classified documents, two were classified after the fact and the other was a transcription of a phone call with the president of Malawi. So still not comparable to the documents Trump had.

@LeopoldBloom Well, I think it's too late to charge her. But assuming the FBI found what had been reported, President Trump should be charged... Just as Sec'y Clinton should've been. But I fear neither will be. Hence my post. 🙄
