The simple fact that he did a great job and it would absolutely kill the entire left if he got back in.
I seriously have yet to find anyone who has any issue with his policies.
But... He won't run again.
He will endorse Desontis and act as advisor to him.
It will be better than having him actually in the oval office.

@Dainbramadge It's more complicated than that. The "best economy" myth has been well explained. The USA has never been nor does it look like it will be energy independent. Saying it doesn't make it so.
Here's one person who has a problem with his politics, because they shift with the slightest detection of voter desire. He has supported policies (he actually has not one of his own) that promote discrimination, voter suppression, arrogance with a pandemic, that seek to punish lgbtq and there's legislation abounding restraining and restricting the rights of hundreds of thousands of people right now.
More than anything, his open ugliness and base values emboldened an entire class of people who've simply been waiting to say whatever thought comes to their mind and with impunity. It's become acceptable to treat others aggressively, with anger, violence, epithets and general disdain. That behavior in this culture is now as regarded as acceptable behavior. That's on Trump and his circus.
I won't even mention the fact he's being called to account for espionage and could be tried to treason. A former President of the United States.
So, no, I wouldn't vote Trump in for janitor at one of his slum properties, 'cause he'd grift even in that position. And politics has nothing at all to do with it. They were just the weapon of a would-be king. no need to debate. Mine is simply an opinion, as is yours. Simply two sides of the same fence.

@Dainbramadge LOL 81 million voters had a problem with his policies. And Trump hates DeSatanis and would never agree to “advise” him, not that Ron would want him to.

@LeopoldBloom oh I didn't know that about Trump hating to desantos. I wonder what that's about.
To be honest I'm not so sure that people even paid attention to his policies because of his audacious personality.
He was very cocky and people really disliked that about him.
But I guess I could be wrong I only watch Ninja turtles. LOL

@Graylight I almost missed your comment. For some reason I either missed the notification or as usual didn't get one.
Now seriously, not trying to sling mud or start a fight. Everything that you mentioned is what I feel the left is doing.
I don't want to get into a big long discussion about it not because I don't have anything to say it's just kind of useless because you are very set in your ways and I am very set in mine even though when I do ask a question about the left views on something I am trying to expand my understanding not start a fight.
Thank you for your response though.

@Dainbramadge Indeed. We have our points and those fluttering around are free to read. Keep fighting your good fight, I'll keep fighting mine.
