Occam's razor 2020 election

On one hand, Trump's popular vote % was slightly better than his approval rating for his entire presidency, and agrees with pre-election polls. I've been around for more than a few presidential elections, and this is the only time I remember members of one party endorsing a candidate from another. The 2016 Trump states that "flipped" for Biden in 2020 are all states that have been leaning more towards the center for the past two decades. There have been very few proven incidents of voting crimes in the USA. For such a crime to happen without smoking gun evidence requires many, many people to be in on it, and to keep their mouths shut. This isn't the X files, its real life. The basic fact is: Trump was very popular with 40% of the country, and very unpopular with the remaining 60% . Basic logic tells you that Trump does not win.

On the other hand, the pre-election polls and approval ratings polls could have all been biased and rigged. Stats that show voting trends could all be biased or intentionally misleading. endorsements are irrelevant. Many folks on various levels could have conspired together nationally to change the vote in a few states. The volunteer poll workers could all have received special training on how to cheat so that election observers did not catch them. The post election audits and recounts could have all been paid off by democrat donors with deep pockets.

One scenario is simple, and doesn't require anything extraordinary. The other one does. Sorry, Liz Cheney is 100% correct here.

Some cons believe the Dems masterminded a plot to fake millions of ballots for thousands of jurisdictions, sneak them into hundreds of counting centers, evading tens of thousands of watchful eyes, and not slip up once. Also that the Dems forgot to cheat downballot and control the Senate overwhelmingly. Plus, these cons believe the Dems are not competent to run a lemonade stand. No, I can't explain their cognitive dissonance.
