I realize what a truly radical idea this is but I think Pete Buttigieg could be the political change we need.

He has absolute integrity, and poise, and certainly has a high degree of charisma most 2024 hopefuls seem to be lacking. He has been very proactive in implementing sensible objectives for improved infrastructure we haven't seen for way too many decades.

While too many will take offense at his sexual persuasion those able to see beyond this will embrace the positive changes his sights are set upon. A man with an idealistic but yet realistic vision for America.We thought we would never have a black president. Why not a gay one? Just consider the possibility.

So here's the deal with having a gay nominee. The majority of Americans support gay rights. And because nearly all of those people vote Democrat, the Democrats won't lose much (if any) support by nominating a gay person.
However, having a gay nominee will embolden Republicans to vote against him. Republicans who only vote sometimes will definitely vote just to stop Buttigieg from becoming president. Whereas if it's just another straight establishment Democrat, they won't like him, but they might not care enough to vote in that election.

I don't like that being gay would be an issue, but considering we're extremely close to losing our Democracy, all I want right now is to keep Democrats in power. Everything else doesn't matter until Fascism is defeated.
@BohemianBabe You have made some very valid points here. I do agree, defeating fascism is priority number one.
