I took the 5th because, well, I'm guilty

"I once asked, 'If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?' Now I know the answer to that question. When your family, your company, and all the people in your orbit have become the targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors, and the Fake News Media, you have no choice."
Trump, explaining why he took the 5th

Conservatives, do you really but this BS? What about the reason or aim for an investigation would influence whether someone chose to tell their truth and defend their innocent position? It's the kind of statement made often on shows like To Catch a Predator. The suspect tries to play off the whole encounter by saying he was just dropping over to help someone study, a ludacris explanation that sounds sane to him.

Your guy is guilty and he's going to answer for it. He'll either be convicted of crimes or he'll die a victim and unrealized in greatness, mired in very unflattering press and allegations. I'm not sure which one I hope for.

He pleads the 5th at a civil trial which is different than a criminal trial. In a civil trial when you plead the 5th it is just like admitting guilt....so yep...Trump admited he is guilty...lol.
