I think the reason LGBT is facing backlash right now is because back when Obama was in office they gained a lot of traction but then some extremists went overboard and made the community look bad.

@CestManan I think it was more like when LGBT were allowed to get married, that set off a backlash from the homophobes. For bigots, equality makes them feel oppressed.

@CestManan Equality feels like oppression to some people. Here we are 7 years later and traditional marriages are still happening. It's like a toddler at a birthday party who is given cake, and throws a tantrum because other kids are also getting cake.

@Slade Yes, [b]former[/b] President Trump managed to have a rich father who left him a large inheritance which he managed to blow. He did star in a popular TV show, and he managed to steal the election in 2016, so he gets credit for that.
