Do you think there will ever be an American president who is mostly revered by a majority of the citizens in your lifetime?

Not with the way we pick our president. It's like we are picking a late night TV comedy host. About which candidate can outwit the other, and who has the best script writers, and which has the benefit of a tailwind generated by the huffing and puffing of the media.

Little of the above is about leadership. There's a big difference between a talk-show host and the network's CEO. But the way we do it we pick a talks show host then expect him/her to run the entire country.

It was the TV media that put JFK in the White House, and it's been that way ever since.
