Herschel Walker says...

He doesn't want to debate because his opponent voted for high gas prices and he is not a leader and he wants the voters to know the truth, so he will debate him but not on his opponent's terms. He declined to state the terms under which he would debate.

All of which is a pretty good indication of why he doesn't want to debate, imo.

Walker has a better chance of appealing to stupid people who are threatened by intellect then he does of appealing to people who value intellect.

If he can't perform in a debate, why should he risk it if he can get enough dumb votes?
