@bijouxbroussard Supposedly the Nazis got word that the Bolsheviks were planning on breaking the treaty too, so they decided to strike first. It was well-known throughout Europe that the alliance wouldn't last long, since the Nazis and the Bolsheviks both wanted Eastern Europe.
