And I said just last night, not one of them will have to temerity to say it's because they're myopic, prejudiced people; they'll claim marriage is already protected, so why would there be a need. In a climate of "let's go back and strike down any scotus decisions we don't like"?
The bad guys are going to win for a bit. Maybe a few generations. It'll be a pyrrhic victory and will end up hurting them as much as anyone else, but they're going to have their way. We'd be very, very wise to be devising a restoration plan. Because unless someone who has had entirely enough and is willing to break some dishes cleaning up the kitchen is ready to take the helm, I don't see much changing.

@Graylight Agreed. I have had countless arguments with these morons, and they invariably say that gay men have just as much a right to marry women as straight men. And when I point out that they want to marry men, it's always "BuT tHaT's NoT mArRiAgE!"
