Unions are more corrupt now than when they were run by the mob. They don't protect workers (OSHA does that now), they just extort companies and employees, drive businesses overseas towards cheaper labor, and raise costs for end customers.
They should ban unions altogether, or at the very least, heavily restrict them.

@wildbill83 OSHA can not penetrate business. That's the law! No OSHA where I work! The boss said! She said - "hey, there's no OSHA here - look at me - no OSHA, only me, I'm your boss. You shut up."

@Roundandroundwego OSHA can inspect any business in the US without notice, and they can shut down or even prosecute any business that denies them entry/inspection

@wildbill83 sure. But in our state another, pro industry panel does it instead. OSHA defers to the industry panel at the state.
There's no safety info on display where I work, and Soledad will fire you if you talk twice.
Water -. We do restroom floor with water &. And we shut up about sanitizing. Or, we starve, never work again.
Why deny the obvious? It's how american people clean every building, coast to coast. Contract labor cheating.
But whatever. Caring is odd, stupid and makes you crazy.

@Loopysoutherner unions harm job creators. What rights do they even give? If you don't like your job, get a new one. Why do you need a corrupt union to cry to. It's a waste of time and money
