It shouldn't be a story. AOC wasn't the only one who put their hands behind their back, and they were, in fact, under arrest. The only reason they
weren't handcuffed in because they were members of Congress (17 of them).
It was likely a show of solidarity - they are no different and willing to suffer for the same cause - but it doesn't end up playing well. Still and all, she was, in fact, detained and arrested, so was in no way disingenuous.
I mean, it's not like she's lied about the insurrection, white supremacists, voter fraud, election integrity, the 1st amendment, violence in this country, school shootings...
