Parent Who Challenged School Board Over 'Pornographic' Books Has Mic Shut Off

The Clay County School District has come under national scrutiny for silencing a concerned parent over his concerns about the district allowing children to read sexually charged and "pornographic" books in school.

At a recent school board meeting, Bruce Friedman spoke in front of the board members to call out what he called "pornography" in the schools' books. After beginning to read the questionable material to the school board, members cut his mic off.

Friedman was then told by school board members he was not allowed to read pornography at school board meetings, as it was not appropriate. This comment ironically confirmed that the school board agreed with the fathers' concerns that children were seeing this material, but he was still censored.

Demonocrats sure screwed up by closing schools needlessly allowing parents to find out what really goes on in schools

We get it. No source details available only on request. Why make SW tedious?

@MistyCee You don't have a search engin? Or is that to difficult for you?
@sunsporter1649 Actually, my favorite search engine is not convenient on account of switching browsers, but even then, why make it a riddle?
@MistyCee It is easier to stir up emotional outrage when people can't fact check anything.

@sunsporter1649 Standard transmission - state something but never give evidence! No wonder you voted for Trump!

@MistyCee
No source details

Has it occurred to you that you make this complaint a lot?
So, there are frequent, impactful, relevant news stories that you never heard about.

Perhaps you should question you own news sources.
They are not covering stories you obviously are interested in.
I wonder why.
@Budwick Adding sources is one reason I "complain" when people don't post them, actually.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@MistyCee That's what I just said.
And then I added that YOUR sources must really suck, cuz they never cover these stories.
@Budwick 😜 Yeah, I chose to ignore that part.

@MistyCee So how lazy are you?
@HoraceGreenley Depends on the day, the hour, and what's going on. I tend to overcompensate sometimes for my laziness, which confuses things, but that's me.

I know I'm disorganized and a procrastinator, so i work extra hard.

Was this about sources?
