Should Trump be charged with crimes?

My question is not about whether or not he is guilty of crimes, but whether it would be good for the country as a whole to charge him even if there is ample evidence. I certainly see where there is enough evidence of crimes, but considering 40% of the country is still swallowing his #$%#, I think having him "tried" in the court of public opinion may be the better outcome in the long run. I fear that charging him will only strengthen his support.

Should Biden be charged with crimes? There is more evidence against him than against Trump.

@kodiac If there is evidence of crimes by Biden, then he should be charged with crimes. We have seen substantial evidence of Trump's crimes, so he should be charged, and he will.

@windinhishair There is ample evidence that biden is a hack for china. Should biden be charged with election fraud?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@kodiac Not sure I follow you. What specific statute do you think there is ample evidence for? I am pretty sure that China Hack is not a criminal law. I'll say again, if he or anyone else commits a crime, they should be charged with one.

@windinhishair Taking money from a foreign country like china or russia ,should qualify. Remember the big guys cut? Sorry took long to reply, i had to go to my second job that i had to get to pay for gas to get to the first one .Welcome to bidens America

@kodiac Biden doesn't control global inflation. Nice try though.

What money did Biden take from a foreign country and what statute did it violate? If you have specific evidence of a crime, he should be charged.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@windinhishair Yes he should but all this is being burried under the trump witch hunt Everyone saw the emails on hinters laptop before the liberal media clamped down on all of that.

@kodiac What specific statutes did Biden violate? What does that have to do with someone else's computer?
kodiac · 22-25, M
@windinhishair Seriously ? It's his SONS computer. I'm not a lawyer or justice but I'm pretty sure taking money for favors is illegal. Especially when you're supposed to be president or vice president.

@kodiac President Biden is not responsible for his adult son and cannot be prosecuted for any crimes his son may have committed. You do know that, right?

Was asking for a favor from the Ukrainian President Zelensky, which Trump called a "favor", in return for foreign aid approved by Congress, a crime? Trump was impeached for it.
kodiac · 22-25, M
@windinhishair Not impeached unless i missed something. Are you just being obtuse or you really don't know that biden was getting a cut from every deal his son made? The email was published
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@kodiac You are missing something. Impeachment is the sole purview of the House of Representatives. The House impeached Trump. The Senate did not convict Trump, but that does not in any way erase the impeachment. Trump is the only twice-impeached President in history and will always have the two impeachments. They cannot be erased.

I have seen the allegations of Biden accepting money, but an email released by Republicans who have a computer in their custody is not even close to proof. If there is actual evidence, say documented wire transfers, etc., then he should be indicted and charged.
