Many do. They feared Sharia law, as if that was about to ever happen, but are okay with their view of Christian law
SCROTUS declared Stare Decisis null and void so because the Constitution does not say “no separation of church and state” it’s anyone’s guess how far this will go.
SCROTUS already decided public money can fund religious indoctrination, and prayer sessions by public officials in authority can never be coercive in a “bad” way.
Finally, SCROTUS had declared that it is inappropriate to view culture and tradition past 1780 as a way to determine ambiguous constitutional issues.
So it’s really up to the minority…again.
