Do you think we reap what we sow?
Thiesen, a self proclaimed "Conservative" even though he's writing for WashPo and not Breitbart, makes a pretty good case for warning of how easy it would be for a new Republican Congress to retaliate if Dems create another filibuster "exception" and even cited a lib "colleague", Ruth Marcus, warning of the same thing.
I really wish WashPo, NYT and legitimate "right wing" publishers would scrap their paywalls at times like these, because they seem to be getting their message out only to those who care enough to pay, while the pure partisan propgandizers cherry pick what to distribute to their respective mass audiences.
I'm not saying either Thiesen or Marcus is right or wrong, and maybe the left should hold nothing back and take a possible last stand, but I really think we could all benefit from an open discussion of both the substantive issues and the process involved in dealing with them without commercial paywalls.
