Who cares about Trump?

The problem is, he's infected plenty of people (maybe immune compromised), and he's still capable of spreading this sociopathic crap.

Is he the only carrier, no, but he's still spreading the lies, encouraging others to lie and act in ways that are detrimental to everyone but himself.

I'd like to ignore him, and move on to more legitimate candidates, but he's still a threat.

I care about him for a number of reasons.

To begin with, it pisses me off when people commit crimes against this country and get away with it.

Secondly, the majority of the Republican party still dances to his twisted tune. That needs to change. Time was, you could have a civilized debate between the two sides. That ended around 2015.

Safe to say most people's opinions are copied from their favorite influencers, who in turn copy their opinions from mass media. As such, politics remain largely a battle between two armies of puppets ventriloquised by a small handful of actual thinkers. Of which Donald is not.

Because people believe he will be president again in 2024

I mean, he very likely will run in 2024 and has a good chance at being president again. His endorsements are still sought after.

It's possible DeSantis could replace him as the new big figure in the Republican party, but just because he's not president now doesn't mean he's not still important.
