Should Biden seek re-election?

Why and why not?

I'm not American. I think that anyone is better than Trump though I'm not sure what the 'average' US voter thinks. If Biden's USP was that he was the most electable, then does that apply anymore?

No Biden is too old and he has been a ditz all his life even before he became mildly senile. He dosen't run anything.
He is not particularly good at anything either. If we truly want the country to improve then Biden is not the guy.
Biden dosen't actually care about anything except just being president.
He has no deeply held conviction.
Loads of better canidates out there.

He defeated someone who wanted to be president so badly he practically destroyed our country, and who is still the source of the most bitter divisions in modern times. You can bet that if Biden had lost by the numbers Trump did he wouldn’t have called upon anyone to "march" on the government, nor would he have tied up state courts with 61 challenges (all tossed out).

@REMsleep It would be nice if someone ran on a freedom platform.

@bijouxbroussard Ok well we have two poor quality candidates, I wouldn't agrue with that. I'm not a Trump supporter. Trump was devicive, undiplomatic and all of the above but he did make some decent financial decisions for the country. I think that Trump had some very smart people around him and that was the only decent thing he ever did.
But he tried to become a king, he stomped on the constitution, he lies when he breaths and is the definition of nepotism.

@Diotrephes Freedom? In what sense?
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@REMsleep Well, I suppose freedom in compliance with the constitution would be a good start. So, if the constitution does not specifically restrict an action then all laws related to the specific issue would be revoked.

For example, the 8th Amendment ="Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

Judges are always violating this one by imposing $million bails on poor people. Cops routinely violate this also by battering suspects.

Then there's the 6th amendment, where suspects are denied their right to a speedy trial. While "speedy" isn't defined if a person was locked up longer then 90 days without a trial I would vote "Not Guilty."

@Diotrephes Well you sound like a freedom extremist and I don't believe that any candidate running on this type of platform stands any chance of winning.
Your idea of how things should work could potentially usher in chaos.

@REMsleep Well, it seems that most people, regardless of country, do prefer to live in a police state rather than a "free" state. People love being told what to do and what to think. They get upset when they have to make their own decisions. You see it here every day in the comments posters make on the various threads.

@REMsleep You know how old Trump is, right?

Smart people he rarely listened to, because first and foremost they were telling him to get off Twitter !
And he also had a lot of people around him who ended up facing criminal charges. How often does that happen during a presidential administration ? What financial decisions did he actually make for the country ? (Not the ones he simply took credit for, because he did a lot of that.)
