She is, however, one of the many politicians in Washington who voted against a proposed bill which would have solved the infant formula shortage in the United States. She also voted against a bill to prevent price gouging at the pump.
she's horrible but I don't see how she had anything to do with the conditions at the plant hat made formula. price gouging though.... maybe. I don't really care to follow her every move.
My understanding of the formula bill was that they didn't see it doing anything to actually solve the problem. I don't think it stopped the importing of formula. Biden signed something in to be able to do that, I believe. The bill was mostly adding more people to inspect formula because it was the FDA that stopped production of a production plant after a suspected contamination. So those that voted against it didn't really feel that giving more money to the FDA was going to solve the immediate issue.
