A civil war? Ridiculous! Who would fight whom? What would the military and/or police do? Stand back and watch? Anybody that says that is a possibility needs to think about the resources required to fight a war!

@Baremine That is true but the example of the American War of Independence not a very wise one considering what happened on the continent before and for long after that.
Nor very useful to anyone who even if believing in the Judaeo-Christian God, does not make Him/Her/It a very partisan version!

@Baremine Ukraine had considerable resources before the russian invasion, including many Ukrainians that served in the russian armed forces years ago, and Ukraine has the support of many other nations, so that is not a civil war! The American revolution against England was not a civil war either, and the weaponry was not nearly as sophisticated then as it is now. Both sides were similarly armed. Now the American Civil War was of course, a civil war, but it was fought between armies raised in individual States that threw their allegiance to one side or the other, and also both sides were similarly armed.
