How close is USA to civil war?

Serious questions:
Is the US coming close to civil war ?
Canadians; should our government already have a contingency plan and what should that look like ?

It appears that Democracy and Fascism are ready to collide in a way we haven't seen before Emotions are running high and what once seemed highly unlikely has become a possibility. Yes, Canada should seriously consider a contingency plan. If the USA has a civil war it will impact the entire world.
