We have our issues and divisions for sure. Perhaps the ideological division is the greatest I've seen in my lifetime. That being said, our constitutional republic seems to get us out of trouble eventually. The pendulum swings back and forth every generation it seems. So what I suspect you'll see is a shellacking by the Republicans in the 2022 Congressional mid-terms this November. Even with the overturning of Roe/Wade. If successful, that should cause Biden to be a lame duck in that he'll have a harder time getting his destructive far-left agenda through Congress. I don't think we'll see a hard civil war. One might argue though, that we're in kind of a soft civil war right now.

destructive far-left agenda
Illustrates the problem: ideological absolutism that sees everything in terms of us-them right-left conflict rather than seeking co-operative common sense solutions to real problems. It's shitty that such unintelligent, alleged 'thinking' gets loose in t he rest of the world.
