You see I am a critic of the public education system, although I'm not in favor of Charter schools precisely.
Honestly my real position is the school districts are broken in a kind of way that makes reform impossible because the system is designed to sabotage all efforts at actual reform so the only way to FIX the education system is a full blooded revolution that completely BURNS the one we have now down ENTIRELY until there's NOTHING LEFT of it and ONLY ONCE it's been burnt COMPLETELY DOWN can we build something functional on the ASHES of the old system.
the system we have presently assumes children need incentives to learn and punishments for refusing- Both are fatally flawed assumptions.
if you ask me to think of the children- I already am. I support children's democracies and think we need them as the real "Reform" of the system as The problem is too many of us are authoritarians because we've never been taught anything different.
I consider Right wing Authoritarianism to be a problem that should be solved.

Anyone who thinks this system can be reformed is in for a rude awakening, the only path to reform is to burn the system that we currently have down FIRST.
