"The border is secure and the border is not open. We are expelling, under the CDC’s public health authority in light of the pandemic, single individuals who arrive at the border. We are expelling families, under that same public health authority, limited only by the capacity of Mexico to receive them," Mayorkas said, adding they are "not expelling children who arrive unaccompanied without a parent or legal guardian."

The fear of others has been enough to make american people despise the human rights that let people cross borders.

@RedBaron yet the south remains on the border with fear against people who want to cross, and there's not much we have done about it with our positive feelings.
It's definitely a national dysfunction.
