LOL. I don't think Al Gore attempted a coup. He challenged the result in the courts, lost, and accepted it.

Trump challenged the result in the courts, lost, and orchestrated a violent mob to attack the Capitol (allegedly).

Even if Trump was not ultimately behind it, every single one of the rioters who attempted to storm the Capitol and attempt to overthrow the democratic process was a Republican.
