How is this pitch going to work with people who don't mind lying and and believe it's ok if it benefits them?

I agree, but none of this is new, and let's face it, how many Trump voters really thought he was telling the truth about crowd size, his voice on the pussy grabbing tape, his motives for extorting Zelinsky, or even the stolen election?

They like lies, when they think they can benefit from them, and they, like Trump, don't usually even deny them and instead resort to whatabouts and moral relativism.

I agree that we need to keep calling this stuff out, but we also need to keep in mind that Trump supporters and even the undecided voters have mostly already prioritized things like honesty and other human beings.

It seems like we need a new message, imo, besides us vs them.

On one level, this is about the GOP’s war on democracy and its refusal to accept defeat and support the peaceful transfer of power. But more fundamentally, it is about these Republicans’ willingness to lie — or be taken in by lies — if it suits their career ambitions. Democrats should mince no words: Such people should not hold public office.

The GOP is unwilling to accept cheating on elections.
THAT is the issue.

I think the GOP message is pretty good,
especially since the Democrat message has been 'suffer and like it.'

I think that Americans are actually not so enamored by the Jan 6th rally any more.
People that broke into the capital building were arrested - it would be nice to actually try these folks. Some are 'more guilty' than others.

It's the dems that can't escape the repeated failures of the democrat administration and the negative impact on America.

BTW, it was Hunter and Joe extorting Zelinsky, not Trump.
I get it, easy mistake, it could happen to anyone.
Just like jamming a fork full of apple pie into your eye, instead of your mouth.
@Budwick That's another problem for Dems. Politically, going after Trump seems like a distraction from the economy and Biden.

As for Hunter and Joe, though, I was referring to
"I need to do you a favor, though" on that "perfect call."

Re Jan 6: It's amazing how efficient Garland and the FBI are in making arrests when their political interests are concerned.

Not so efficient in bringing people to trial, however.
Whatever happened to the Constitutional right to a speedy trial...? 🤔

Oh, wait... maybe closer to election time. 🤔

"I need to do you a favor, though" on that "perfect call.

Oh, the call that was transcribed word for word and proved nothing was a foot?

and NOT the millions Joe extorted from Ukraine and bragged about?

I'm sorry, I should have known you would not be chasing the truth.

@Budwick Biden admitted to doing it on camera . I saw the video .
