Besides buying a new car, is there anything we can do about these gas prices?

@JesseInTX replacing biden isnt going to make gas just drop the next day... while i agree it will help..gas issues are global atm.

@lispoiledbrat it’s the policies he put into place on day one of his administration that have had an affect here in the states and world wide. He has a stated goal of ending the fossil fuel industry and the coal industry.

Biden could reverse everything he did in his first week in office tomorrow and in 6 months the price of oil would drop significantly and the price of gas here would drop close to $3 a gallon nationwide. Within a year it would be back down close to $2. That’s just facts.

@SinlessOnslaught it’s really simple. Cut production, you cut supply. Demand doesn’t change so the price goes higher and higher. And we were one of the largest exporters in the world when he took office. Production could ramp up fairly quickly, but just knowing that production was beginning and the estimates and futures would bring prices down. Within a year we would be able to supply other nations with what their missing from Russia. And the Saudis would be forced to ramp up because they want a piece of the action too.

@SinlessOnslaught I get what you’re saying. The fact is the price of oil and gas began to rise, and has every month except for 2, since Biden was proclaimed the winner of the 2020 election. Before Putin even stepped foot in Ukraine the national average in the US was up almost $1.50.

@SinlessOnslaught All things set in motion in 2020 when covid was going on, maybe ask the gas companies why they dont want to drill...i mean they are making record profits.
