Yes,vote Joe out. We were energy independent for a short bit. 1.68 gal.

@Applepiedom I meant within the next two years, really. I know Biden is the cause.

@Applepiedom explain the rest of the world then? btw you do know oil is sold globally right? we can produce more here then we use and still have gas this high....cause the cost of a barrel is based on global supply and demand.
And before you decide to bash me, im a conservative republican. Joe Biden is an idiot, but not every thing is the old mans fault completely. We are starting to sound like liberals where everything was blamed on Trump...i think we republicans could do better.

@lispoiledbrat Start up oil production in the US before we blame anything else. It's a process of elimination.
lispoiledbrat · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught still wont offset cutting russia out
SinlessOnslaught · M
@lispoiledbrat How do you know?
lispoiledbrat · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught Russia produced most if not all of europes oil....that is pulling alot of oil off the table that needs to be refilled. I see us maybe getting under 4, but we aint getting to under 2 anytime soon. More then likely gas will drop as 2024 rolls to an end...biden will lose and the next president will say he dropped oil down in march and take credit for shit he didnt do.
SinlessOnslaught · M
@lispoiledbrat And we produced our own oil so it didn't matter what Russia did.
lispoiledbrat · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught oil is a global thing honey...we don't have a nationalized system. We could make double what we consume and oil would be 120 a barrel if the worlds demand is higher then that... We would literally have to nationalize the oil and that would stop all exports. to drop the barrel cost down but for us... our allies would go nuts
SinlessOnslaught · M
@lispoiledbrat So why could I fill up my tank for $15, four years ago?
lispoiledbrat · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught no covid, no supply issues, no russian war...permits approved by obama that were setup in 2016 and companies started preparing to start drilling. Trump added to that.
SinlessOnslaught · M
@lispoiledbrat And they just happened to rise in 2016 and fall in 2020.
Applepiedom · 61-69, M
@lispoiledbrat and I do know and agree. And that's not to say it wouldn't still be so high but when I have oil at home why but someone else's.
And I also agree Republicans aren't perfect. But Joe gives coffee a bad name even

@Applepiedom because oil is sold globally it goes where demand goes. We need global increase in production of oil to kill this faster.
SinlessOnslaught · M
@lispoiledbrat So in conclusion, the rising gas prices are due to decreased oil production in the USA.
Applepiedom · 61-69, M
@SinlessOnslaught some yes. At least in the us globally it's shortages.
