Did the cover Ashli Babbitt's murder? Here's the video of Lt Byrd shooting her. You can see him pull his pistol to the left right before firing. Warning...It is graphic. Note that Ashli wasn't one of those trying break through the heavily barricaded doors. Those who were trying to smash through the glass weren't successful. There were DC cops, heavily armed with AR-15s, right behind the crowd. How was Ashli even remotely a threat? Why isn't Lt. Byrd in prison?

What part of "Get back or I'll shoot you!" from a law officer is any way ambiguous? Least she didn't get shot in the back like African Americans get it.

@BizSuitStacy She and the police officers who died from injuries would not have happened if trump didn't initiate a coup to undermine democracy based on his lies of a stolen election. Every politician who was at the capital building that day and feared for their lives as well as their families, spouses and children, who were at home watching the violence on live tv feared for them also, they will never forget that day for the rest of their lifetimes. Put the blame on the person who caused it and has no regrets, remorse, empathy, or compassion, for others.

Not that it would justify the shooting. The officers life wasn't at risk...or didn't you see the cops armed with AR-15s behind the crowd. Besides...when is shooting into a crowd like that EVER justified?

Five people died either shortly before, during, or following the event: one was shot by Capitol Police, another died of a drug overdose, and three died of natural causes. Many people were injured, including 138 police officers. Four officers who responded to the attack died by suicide within seven months.

Nice spin. Ashli Babbitt was the only person killed during the riot. Brian Sicknick died of a stroke the day after unrelated to the riot. Yes...some cops committed suicide...happens more often than you realize. How were those related to the riot? You have no clue.

@softspokenman The steal was broad and complex. This and hundreds of cases like prove that the vote was fraudulent. If the the Jan 6th rally had not been hijacked, they would have encouraged Congress to delay ratifying the vote, looked into fraudulent claims.

It hasn't all been tabulated, but there is no doubt in my mind that the election was stolen.
