No video cameras allowed

During the Presidents latest appearance, only still cameras. Why do you think that is and how do they enforce it?

They would enforce it after publication I would guess. And if someone did air a video they would lose their press pass to presidential conferences. It's not suppressing the press but controlling it a bit there's not enough room to just let everyone in to every conference,
As far as just using still shots, that may be a way of keeping the gaffs minimal. They don't need video of him tripping up the stairs or on the White House lawn.
