UK Politics

Being an old bat, I can say with complete sincerity that the current bunch of rubbish that is the British cabinet is the worst collection of nothings we have had in my lifetime.
We have suffered from shocking prime ministers in the past - Thatcher was the worst - but this lot, collectively, are unbelievably crass.
Roll on the general election.
Or the revolution!

Yeah after Blair it was just terrible. Cameron and Johnson have been the worst imo, the most self serving irresponsible people I've ever seen in office in my lifetime so far.

I hope Starmers not going to be so neutral and milktoast when the election rolls in because he's not really a leader at all. They better have some great policies and not just rely on the Conservatives being shite.

@Ryannnnnn I agree with all of that. Here's hoping for a Labour victory and some sense and humanity in the country.

@Ryannnnnn I think the coalition government under Cameron from 2010-15 was rather good. I don’t mean I agreed with all its policies, but on the whole I think it governed fairly and competently. Cameron lost his way when he was on his own, and Nick Clegg got no thanks.

@MartinII I feel like it kinda goes out the window in the shadow of the surprise referendum he pulled. Also the decisions regarding university costs and their poor bashing benefit reforms didn't sit well with me at all.

@Ryannnnnn I can understand that. I’m trying to assess him dispassionately rather than according to my own particular opinions. He just seemed so much less comfortable when he was on his own. And I think it was a great mistake to resign immediately after the referendum.
