They are not wrong. As long as the Republicans hold a majority in the Senate pretty much no new policies or amended laws will be passed because the Republicans will block pretty much everything just on principle.

@Changeisgonnacome I actually meant your statement was correct and yes they do all get donations from the public although I couldn’t imagine any voter making donations to both parties at the same time.

Big corporations fund a lot of both parties. I favor Democrats because they aren't quite regressive on social issues, though they seem to lack a backbone for taking strong stances. Economic policy we're hosed on though. Both parties serve the rich when it comes to economics.
