Student loan debt forgiveness

My son works for a guy who owns a medium sized company (Electrician) and he was saying he took out a hundred thousand dollar loan to buy a few trucks and expand his business, he is still paying the loan off and thinks it would be awesome if his loan was forgiven. He didn't go to college so he has no student debt, but he still has debt... what do you think?

Honestly of this whole sorrid chapter all the people raging that they paid there's off and it would be unfair to bail the kids out I'm just sitting here like oh noes imagine things being easier for the generation that came after you. How horrible. /s

basically if you think student loan forgiveness is "insutling" because you had to suffer through paying yours off you are cringe.
@PDXNative1986 how about someone who didn't attend college and
is making minimum wage being asked to chip in to pay off a persons loan who has a PhD , . Cringe?

@FreeSpirit1 Yeah because they make too little to be expected to chip in.

But I mean generally I'd support a sliding scale of tax contributions as it went up.

The truth of the matter about college debt and my feelings about it I wish they just made the creditors forgive it because It's a drag on the economy.
