Instead of spending time on reading, writing, math, science, history and geography, we spend our time on bullshit like Critical Race Theory and LGBTQRSTXYZ+÷=/ issues.
Compared to developed countries, the US public school system is mediocre at best. We do a below average job of educating children despute spending more money per child that all other countries.
There are decades of data showing these outcomes.
Let's find a way to do a better job educating children.

@HoraceGreenley CRT isn't taught in schools. It's an advanced law degree topic. Please tell me how many 12 year olds you know with a J.D?

@HoraceGreenley You are right. The idea of liberal education is dead on arrival in present day education. I had a smile a few years ago. I was at a gathering of young people from around the world. Smart university educated able to converse on the classics and the thoughts behind such classics. Well except the Canadians and Americans. They had no idea what the Europeans, Asians and Africans were talking about. It was almost embarrassing.

@basilfawlty89 CRT has made its way into schools. There are plenty of Left Wing Nur teachers in America
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 that's depressing
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@HoraceGreenley define CRT.
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 America and its instutions are based on slavery
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@HoraceGreenley that's not actually what CRT is, but do you claim America wasn't built with slave labour?
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@basilfawlty89 They’re calling any mention of POC in any book CRT. It’s a sorry excuse..
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 Yhen what is it?
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 No, America was not built on slave labor. The Britsh brought the African slave yrade to the new world as a money making venture.

@HoraceGreenley In FL a math book was banned because it had a Maya Angelou quote in it and it also had references to the black women that helped launch some of the NASA programs in the 60. That’s what they call CRT..
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@Quetzalcoatlus i find that hard to believe. If true neither of those are CRT/LGBTQRSXYZ+#%&
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@basilfawlty89 So because you believe a book should be used in schools, that's a good enough reason.
My don't we have a high opinion of ourselves.

@HoraceGreenley The truth is hard to handle sometimes. Still true…
HoraceGreenley · 61-69, M
@Quetzalcoatlus Fine, but my original point still stands. Despite spending more money per child, the US public school's do a below average job of educating children.
These facts are indisputable.
So tell me how spending time on social issues of any kind, rectifies these deficiencies?
