MItt Romneys funding from the NRA

The NRA has paid (R) Mitt Romney $21,076,917.00 to be in favor of guns

That’s a whole lot of cash for Mitt.

If you want to put a stop to guns and the pain and death caused by guns then stop the cash flowing from the NRA and stop Senators voting in favor of guns and assault rifles.

When did ANY senator vote FOR guns?
Do you even know what an assault rifle is?

BTW - 15 of the most politically active nonprofit organizations that generally align with the Democratic Party spent more than $1.5 billion in 2020 to steal the election.

Such bs. We need to stop rewarding these shooters and stop those manipulating them.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@Lostpoet I don’t think so. We have guys here where I live who do ram raids on corner shops and shopping malls and record them on tik tok for instant fame. They have been happening most nights for the last 3 weeks.

School shootings are a bit different. They are being done by lone guys who have grevences against society or people and Their intentions are to kill as many people in the shortest time possible. Yes they are live streaming some of them.

@justanothername 😠so it was you!

@Lostpoet U so funny.

Facebook is also at fault for failing to move fast and notify authorities. The shooter messaged his girlfriend on FB 30 minutes before he attacked his grandmother yet none of the monitoring capabilities of FB red flagged any of the messages, or if they did, no action was taken.

On March 15th, 2019 a mosque was attacked in Christchurch, NZ. The shooter live streamed the whole event via FBs live streaming option. Throughout the event NO moves were taken by FB to block or take the stream offline. Despite promises to take action nothing has happened since that day.

People kill people
EvilEmma · F
@Jake966 yeah.. and not all people should have access to easy tools to kill people for exactly that reason
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@cycleman many. Duck duck go can help you there.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@cycleman gun control takes the guns out of the hands of the law abiding citizens and leaves us defenseless

You have to stand up. Talk about it. Vote for the change.
Thing is that so many senators are getting that kickback for voting down common sense laws. The Democrats don't want your guns. They aren't going to take them away. Obviously they can't make people behave, and granted nobody can. But reasonable and sensible laws are usually ok with reasonable and sane people.
This is a voting year. It's your duty. It's all you can do besides talk. Use it as you see fit. It's your voice. Well if gerrymandering doesn't nullify it. Like in Texass.

@kentex35 you think the parent of a gunned down kid is going to hang their grief on a vote?
kentex35 · 100+, M
@Tastyfrzz no I don't. I can't imagine their grief. All I can do is hope to make an intelligent decision that will lead to the good of the whole. I don't really hate guns or the owners. I once qualified third highest on the range when I was an active duty marine and that was 3rd of a group of a hundred other marines. But most people don't get that kind of training and the safety they demanded.. I never saw one accident and they happened in sure but as an infantryman I probably ran a half million rounds through different rifles. It's always something when someone gets killed in an accident. And it usually starts with,"I didn't know..." That's all I'm asking is to find some common denominator that it politicians can agree on that will save lives. That's all. It's a free country I don't want your gun and I don't know anyone that's coming to get them. I've heard the boo stories that one part is going to take them away. And it's those that believe that that are most likely in need of a bit more training. Of training makes you better why not? What if it's your kids laying there. What would you suggest?

Mitt is just another useless vagina
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
If I were a parent of one of those kids I would figure there would be nothing left to lose. Anyone culpable to this shooting would become a target for revenge.

Romney is far from being the only Repuglican to take cash from the NRA, many of them do! 😖

The only way to stop shootings is to stop those organising these shootings in the first place so the can have gun control
justanothername · 51-55, M
@MonaReeves86 These shootings are not organized. Planed by individuals, Yes but organized, no.

Organizing happens when multiple people are involved .

Mostly 18yrs or older males with a grudge against society or a group of people. They get access to lots of guns and lots of ammunition. They then plan their route and then some time later they execute their plan hoping for maximum impact/casualties.
