Australia changed it's government yesterday.

Australia had an election yesterday and kicked out the conservative government. It was so boring. There were no riots, no insurrection and almost everyone voted. The outgoing prime Minister gave a dignified speech conceding defeat and the new one gave a gracious speech accepting the position.
So dull... 😉

So no more "Scummo", what's the nickname for the new guy? 😃

@spjennifer The new one has long had the nickname "Albo" a contraction of Albanese. And yes. Its already been said that Scummo got the Albo..😷

@spjennifer This won't happen, but if the same formula is used as ScoMo, then our new PM would be called AnAl.. XD and the deputy PM is Richard Marles.... Dick!

@walabby Lol, would be funny but I doubt they'll nickname your PM AnAl. I wrote it as ScumMo because that's how i'd heard it pronounced and seen it written by a couple of Aussie buddies of mine, guessing he wasn't too well liked and the nick was appropriate 🤪

@spjennifer ScoMo wasn't actually bad, but he wasn't great. Even a lot of voters that support his party didn't like him much. It's time for a change ...

@walabby Sadly the "Liberal" Party has become anything but liberal. Its moved to the right and narrowed its focus to exclude the centre. I was certainly a "Menzies" liberal. I would now be classed as a teal. Simply because I want everyone to have the advantages I did. I expect Dutton to take the party to the Right along with Tudge, Taylor and the Nationals, and I am happy for them to wander in the wilderness for a decade or two. I really expect the teals to morph into a centerist party that will emerge.. But thats likely to take a decade.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I'm pretty much with you. The Libs have lost their direction and will need time to sort themselves out.
