Australia changed it's government yesterday.

Australia had an election yesterday and kicked out the conservative government. It was so boring. There were no riots, no insurrection and almost everyone voted. The outgoing prime Minister gave a dignified speech conceding defeat and the new one gave a gracious speech accepting the position.
So dull... 😉

It matters not a jot what Government runs Australia.. The supposed ""conservatives"" as you called them where the most economically leftist leaning ""conservatives"" you would ever experience and the new party in power will be subject the the current international situation.. So it matters not a jot where they are on the political spectrum.. Their ability to make policies will be determined by the world thats going to hell.. All their promises are just that political promises, Not worth the speech papers they where written on...

@Adstar Sure, if you have no idea altogether of what "leftist" means, ScoMo was "leftist conservative".

@Elessar The Liberal party has been the most left leaning supposed conservative political party in Australia's history.. Leftists run up huge deficits because they cannot stop themselves plunging their nations into huge debts to support their social programs.. The liberal party of Australia has run the biggest social welfare program in Australia's history.. giving more welfare money out in the covid era of the last two years then any labour government has ever given out in the past 100 years.. They even gave millions of wage subsidies to mult-national companies who made billion in profits during the covid crisis..

Don't doubt it the elected Labour party will not be able to give as much social welfare money out then what the Liberal party has achieved...

@Adstar It isn't, it's a simple matter of fact. Had you ever seen an actual leftist, you wouldn't be thinking of ScoMo lmao
