Do you think republicans would be okay w gun reform if it was tied to immigration reform ?
Do you think democrats would support immigration reform if it was tied to gun reform ?

Owning a gun is a right. Crossing the border into the US illegally is a crime. I would not give up a constitutional right (2A) in order for democrats to enforce the law.
