@Justenjoyit she’s still hated in some part’s of uk
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
@Barny52 I think if you put a statue up of any of the last PMs they would have eggs thrown at it.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@Justenjoyit No this one is deserved; that said she was a better PM then the idiot we have now.
Note: New idea carnival style knock them down with the faces of most hated politicians on them, there's just so many to chose from though...

@GeniUs I think she did good, I can remember
In the early 80s with high unemployment and strong unions who were damaging the country. She turned that all around. Boris on the other hand sold himself the Brexit dream.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@Justenjoyit Increased unemployment by closing the mines in favour of cheap coal from the apartheid country South Africa. The Unions needed taming not wrecking and using illegal methods should have been...illegal.

@GeniUs Drastic times needed Drastic measures the country at the time was going down fast, she actually saved the UK and turned it around. The UK was dealing with a high currency and outdated methods, other countries were taking advantage.

@Justenjoyit So getting in bed (and I'm not agreeing with you about how bad it was) with racists and destroying (irritating) parts of your own country whilst breaking the law, was the way ahead? The only reason she survived a first term was that The Falklands War created a surge of nationalism.

@GeniUs I am English by the way I saw what the UK needed after the decline in the 70s.
